Abstract
Cross-border financial corridors and mobile money networks in Sub-Saharan Africa process hundreds of billions of dollars annually amidst severe data fragmentation, informal trade interfaces, and evolving social-engineering anomalies and deceptive claims. This paper presents the architecture of WASID (Whole Africa Sentinel Intelligence Data), an applied AI verification engine that replaces probabilistic single-model inferences with epistemic triangulation across six orthogonal signal channels in 41 African languages. By treating verification as a consensus problem across unaligned telemetry, dialectal context, network topology, and tamper-evident audit ledgers, WASID achieves a 99.4% precision rate on synthetic identity anomalies while maintaining sub-220ms edge latency.
